Overall value: Good if you want lots of space.
If you want audiophile quality in a MP3 player, the 160GB Classic is the one to get (and get a real ly nice pair of headphones).īattery life: definitely not 36 hours, closer to 24.ĭesign: intuitively Apple (simple, easy to use. 40,000, but I can always save the overflow on iTunes, and pick which songs to load on the Classic. Uncompressed gets about 250 songs 4 minutes for each GB. With lossless, I get about 37-50 individual songs 4 minutes per GB. Simply put, lossless takes up a lot more room, which means less music capacity. Although the Classic is the largest ipod in the Apple line-up, and the only one with a hard drive (not SSD), the Classic also has the huge GB capacity to hold my uncompressed, lossless recordings (uncompressed file size is 128kbps, vs. But it reflects poorly that in 2019 that a title of that much importance, figuratively, historically, commercially, and whatever else you wish to apply to it for Square: Can barely fix how character models blink from an official release. This is my second 160GB iPod Classic, and after 4 years, the first one is still going strong. I'm not going to go into detail or stress how important that title is for Square for a billion different reasons. All these problems are symptoms out of the bigger issue of priority. But again, it's not about competing with a mod community, or addressing every technical issue. Many of which come as standard now for remasters or re-releases. And finding out what fans want isn't exactly rocket science, when there are so many gigantic displays and examples in these mod projects available to choose from. For a company that loves re-releasing their products on every platform available, it doesn't feel their inclined to know what fans would like from these ports besides just having them run on said-platform. How about some concept art we haven't seen before? That seems like a bare-minimum thing to do.īy contrast: The modding community right now is up-scaling all the backgrounds with AI, redoing character models and animations, and adding voice-over to the entire game. But, why not take another stab at that script? Run that thing through a spell-checker at least? Maybe add-in some updated music? You have enough live-recordings of the soundtrack of this game officially yourself at this point to probably replace everything. Sure the technicalities of probably basing your port on an unfinished build, has more to do with not having that original source build available anymore. Who asked for that? What are fans asking for that when it comes to FFVII and a port?
#7TH HEAVEN MOD BLACK SCREEN UPDATE#
It was basically a repackage of the original PC release (with midi music that was patched out by fans before an official patch), and pushed forward cloud saving and built-in trainers as huge monumental update and a reason to repurchase it. That FFVII PC re-release originally was not on Steam. The problem, is the priority of what Square has released. That's how I captured my footage of the game.

The PS3 also plays PSX discs so you can just put the disc in the PS3. Second, the PSX version of FF7 is available digitally on PS3, PSP, and PS Vita. It occurred on multiple ladders but after restarting the game it didn't happen anymore. First off, the ladder bug I showed I feel is misleading. Some other things I'd like to add about this video. This is the black frames on Switch and the disappearing models on Xbox One.ĭOTEMU is now credited when starting the game. The odd quirks during the transition from fmv to in-game are now fixed. Her theme does not play on the Steam version but it does play on all other versions Another example is when you find Yuffie, her theme is suppose to play. The correct music plays for the Switch and Xbox One versions.
#7TH HEAVEN MOD BLACK SCREEN PS4#
In the PS4 and Steam versions the main theme isn’t used at all For example, during a flashback very late in the game, the main theme is suppose to play in sync with what’s going on. Some are still in the PS4 version but were never in the Switch or Xbox versions. There were other music bugs in the PC re-release of FF7. I still see a lot of misinformation on this so just wanted to clear that up. The PS4 version is now the only version of FF7 where this bug still occurs. Just a reminder, this was NEVER patched in the PS4 version. The Overworld music reset bug has FINALLY been patched. On there was an update for the Switch & Xbox one versions.
